Note: For the duration of the outreach we use the Reach Mallorca app to communicate (more information about this will follow). Please bring an app-enabled mobile phone with you.
To ensure everyone finds their place within our large Outreach team, all participants are organized into small apartment groups, each led by an apartment leader. As an apartment group, you will live together, travel together to team meetings and outreach locations, shop, cook, eat, clean, pray for one another, and exchange ideas.
Each apartment group is responsible for managing its own purchases.
We are blessed to have wonderful accommodations in Mallorca, located right by the sea, that allow us to house such a large team in one place. Each apartment is equipped with air conditioning, a private bathroom, and 1-2 bedrooms with beds, along with a sofa bed in the living area. While the apartments are simple and plain, they offer more comfort than many other accommodations and are a gift for us to enjoy. As an apartment group, strive to support and serve one another, such as by being considerate when choosing sleeping arrangements rather than reserving the best spot for yourself.
As an Outreach team, we align our hearts with the mission, remembering that it’s not about our own comfort or preferences, but about serving one another with gratitude and love. Let this attitude be reflected in how we live and share life together in the apartments!
If this becomes concrete, we will contact you personally before the Outreach.
There is no need for a separate reference letter in order for you to take part. However, please provide a person we can contact as a personal reference if we have any questions. This person should know that you are applying at Reach Mallorca and that you have listed them as a possible contact. The person should also have an active leadership role in your church and not only have a friendly or familiar relationship with you (e.g. youth leader, pastor, house group leader, mentor).
During the Reach Mallorca Outreach, we carry out evangelistic activities in various locations, including beach services at Ballermann, street outreaches in Magaluf, public services in a plaza at Cala Rajada, face-to-face evangelism in Santa Ponça, and more.
At Reach Mallorca, every participant is an essential part of the Outreach team. While some volunteers and leaders take on additional responsibilities, achieving our goal of sharing God’s love with as many people as possible requires the involvement and dedication of everyone on the team.
The primary focus of Reach Mallorca is the Outreaches—where we actively go out to engage with others. It is important to note that Reach Mallorca is not a leisure event but a dedicated missionary effort. This mission mindset extends to every aspect of our time together, including self-catering in the apartments. Whether it’s shopping, cooking, cleaning, being punctual, or staying organized, everyone’s contribution is needed to ensure the Outreach runs smoothly and effectively.

You can also work specifically in the following areas of work during the Reach Mallorca Outreach:
1. Drama: At the outreach, we will present the gospel in creative and personal ways through drama. Experience in theater is not necessary as the roles will vary in complexity.
2. Worship: Worship is an essential part of Reach Mallorca, both during shared team times and during Outreaches. You should already have experience here.
3. + 4. Sound technic and equipment: As part of the technic team, you will work closely with the worship team. If you already have experience in mixing and are interested in new challenges, then join us here. To set up the stage on the beach we need people who can get involved and know or want to learn how to load a sprinter properly. Every hand is needed!
5. Projector: For team times in the church, a projector team is needed to display texts and PowerPoints. No prior experience is required because there will be training provided.
6. Translation in team times: Since Reach Mallorca is an international Outreach, our team times will be in German, Spanish, and English. That's why we need people who speak the different languages fluently and are skilled at translating.
7. Gospel choir: Be part of the legendary Reach Mallorca gospel choir! We want to lead the worship time as a gospel choir in a cheerful and multi-voiced way and get people to dance along. Atthe beach service we will also invite the people at Ballermann to sing with us and with the choir. You don't need any previous experience - the only requirement is to enjoy singing!
8. Street and beach sermon: The Reach Mallorca outreach also includes larger beach and street services, sometimes attended by several hundred listeners. If you have the confidence to give a short, clearly evangelistic sermon in public in front of many people, then you are very welcome to get involved in this area.
9. Sharing your personal testimony in public: Can you summarize your personal testimony so that you can tell it clearly in a few minutes and do you have the confidence to share it in front of a few hundred listeners at the Ballermann? Then you have the opportunity to share your testimony at the beach service or at another location.
10. Moderation of beach services: As a moderator of a beach service, you are the first point of contact for the listeners and create a connection with the people. The goal is to help listeners to easily follow and understand the individual elements of the service. Instead of just announcing program items, you establish the connections between the elements that build on each other and guide the listeners through the beach service.
Every year we have to apply for a permit for the beach services at Ballermann. The beach services will only take place if the authorities in Palma approve them.
In this approval we must meet certain criteria and, among other things, provide names from our team who have certain qualifications/training. This includes the fact that we need people who could act as doctors, first responders, electricians or lifeguards.
When we are checked by the police on the beach to see whether people with the skills mentioned are there. You don't have to do anything in these moments and have no responsibility, but you will be named in the approval after consultation.
For the Reach Mallorca Outreach, participants and staff from different churches, communities and backgrounds come together. We proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ together. We do this in creative ways and each in our own words.
In order for us as a mission team to be sure that we agree on the common basis of faith, we have published the “Lausanne Covenant” on our website and here in the registration form. The Lausanne Covenant is a declaration of world evangelization and the foundations of our faith.
We ask that you read and agree to the covenant. Your signature to participate in the Reach Mallorca Outreach means that you represent the content of this obligation.
Lausanner Covenant
We firmly believe that your participation in this Outreach will be life-changing and that God has a unique purpose for you during this time. Even before the Outreach begins, we are praying for you and are committed to encouraging and supporting you as you use your gifts and abilities.
To ensure that your time in Mallorca is impactful—for you, the rest of the team, and especially for the people we aim to serve—we have established a few important guidelines. These rules are intended to create a unified, focused, and respectful environment. We kindly ask you to adhere to the following:
1. Respect Leadership Decisions There may be moments during the Outreach when you disagree with decisions made by your leaders or see situations differently. In such moments, we ask that you respectfully submit to the leaders’ decisions and trust their judgment. Many leaders have significant experience and specific reasons for their choices, even if these differ from your perspective. Remember, leaders are human too and can make mistakes. However, maintaining unity within the team is far more important than always making the perfect decision—this applies particularly to apartment groups.
2. Relationships During the Outreach To remain fully focused on the mission, we ask that no one enters into a romantic relationship during the Outreach. If you find yourself developing feelings for someone, we ask that you keep them to yourself and refrain from communicating them through your behavior.
If you are already in a relationship, we kindly request that you set it aside during the Outreach and invest fully in the team and our mission. This includes refraining from physical displays of affection (e.g., holding hands, kissing) and avoiding private moments as a couple that might detract from your commitment to the team, such as time alone. The goal is to concentrate entirely on God and the mission, without distractions.
3. Abstaining from Substances Drugs, alcohol, and cigarettes are strictly prohibited during the Outreach.
4. Guarding Speech Negative talk or gossip about others—whether leaders or participants—can quickly damage the atmosphere of an Outreach. We ask that you completely refrain from speaking poorly about anyone and instead foster an environment of encouragement and support.
Consequences of Non-Adherence If these guidelines are not followed, Outreach leaders reserve the right to send participants home immediately at their own expense.
I hereby confirm my binding registration for the Reach Mallorca Outreach taking place from August 1st to August 12th, 2025. I agree to respect and follow the leadership of the Outreach, as well as to cooperate with the authority figures of the organizing entities and the local church we partner with. I will take their instructions and recommendations seriously. I understand that failure to comply with their guidance may result in my being sent home at my own expense.
Additionally, I commit to refraining from entering into a romantic relationship with anyone of the opposite gender during the entire duration of the Outreach. If I already have a friendship with someone participating in the Outreach, I will avoid physical contact and refrain from actions that could disrupt the group's focus or unity.
I confirm that I have read and fully agree to the general terms and conditions and rules of Reach Mallorca.
For the duration of the Outreach, the Reach Mallorca app will be made available to all participants to simplify communication. I consent to my contact details being added to this internal app, allowing volunteers and other participants to contact me through it. This consent is necessary for participation but can be revoked at any time for the future. Additionally, you may request the deletion of your profile from the app after the Outreach concludes.
Given the size of our Outreach team, the app is an essential tool for effective and timely communication, both before and during the Outreach. It also provides a platform for small groups to connect, get to know each other, and exchange ideas in advance of the event.
Each year, we create inspiring recap videos and photos of the Reach Mallorca Outreach to capture what takes place and to reflect how God is working through the Outreach. These visual materials are used to share the story of what God is doing in Mallorca and to encourage others to join in building His Kingdom beyond Mallorca. We have received numerous testimonies of how these photos and videos have been a blessing to many.
As the Reach Mallorca Outreach team continues to grow each year, it has become necessary to assume that all participants may be filmed or photographed. Unfortunately, due to the size and dynamic nature of the team, it is not feasible to exclude specific individuals from being depicted in media content.
By participating, we kindly ask for your consent to the filming and publication of photos and videos taken during the Outreach. Please rest assured that we make thoughtful and sensitive decisions when selecting media to share, ensuring that only appropriate moments aligned with the mission are featured.
We therefore ask you to agree to the taking and publication of photos and videos taken during the Outreach. When selecting the media to be shown, we make sensitive decisions and show appropriate moments that serve the mission.
Important: In order to work and manage Outreach participants, all volunteers and apartment leaders require a police certificate of good conduct. If this concerns you, you will receive another email from us.
(for participants under 18 years of age)
With my signature I also agree to the declaration of consent for minors.
